TecCast is produced using a multi-casting system to achieve significant cost savings. Both TecCast and Haddonstone’s standard dry-cast are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Pueblo, Colorado. The facility covers more than 6 acres and incorporates fully automated batching, mix distribution systems, mold making and vapour curing.
After the product is cast, the curing process is accelerated with the use of the vapour curing technology where the stone attains the equivalent of at least 7 days curing overnight. The product can then be released, without compromising quality, within days of production ~ thus significantly reducing lead times.
The vapour cure process also minimizes primary efflorescence and assists in ensuring a uniformity of color across the product. Special care and attention is made to the packing of the product using Styrofoam and heat shrink bags. Each pallet contains a manifest of its contents. Dedicated air ride trucks are used to expedite customer orders direct to site.
TecCast complies with the requirements of British Standard 1217: 1997. The minimum cube compressive strength at 28 days is greater than 5075psi. Our customers may have every confidence that the quality and durability of the product will meet their requirements.
